Kim Russell

I completed Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology, NMIT, in 2010.  Using mostly non-precious metals, I make components, I play, and instinctively forms appear. The metal dictates to me more than I dictate to it.  I observe and absorb colour, patterns, formations, puzzles, people, music and the off-kilter things in life. I'm inspired by working from memory. I'm fascinated with how things we see, feel, hear and touch are stored in our sub-conscious and come out through construction. Imagination is greater than knowledge.
