These hard carved ceramic bowls by Dani M were created for the NGV 150th Anniversary product brief, with the National Gallery of Victoria Shop and Craft Victoria's New Craft project combining to create a range of products to celebrate the 150 Years of Melbourne's oldest arts instituiton.

Craft-maker and jeweller, Danielle Maugeri has been working as Dani M Designs for the past 10 years. With a degree in Industrial Design, she has mostly taught herself ceramics and jewellery making, giving her much freedom to experiment and discover. 

For these works Maugeri drew inspiration from John Brack's iconic works of Melbourne - in particular The Bar  and Collins St, 5pm  using the colour palette of these works to create her beautiful and highly functional set of bowls.
