Craft Victoria's video channel

Craft Victoria's new video channel craft tv showcases interviews, short documentaries and films about craft makers and Craft Victoria Members.

Videos featured below were lovingly produced by Bandit Films for Craft Victoria, and can also be viewed over on our Vimeo channel.

Emily Green
Emily Green is a Melbourne-based designer who makes artworks, brooches and necklaces that explore colour, chaotic geometric shapes and soft, organic forms. Her designs are inspired by her love of colour and the aesthetic of Melbourne's inner north. Emily works from her studio at the Harvest Workroom in East Brunswick.

Philip Stokes
Glass artist Philip Stokes has owned and run his own studio since 2002 and is currently located in the inner Melbourne suburb of Cremorne. His studio provides hot shop and cold work access and workshops and looks to support emerging and established glass artists and to provide a vibrant arena for creative exchange.

Nicholas Jones
Nicholas Jones is a Melbourne-based sculptor who uses books and printed paper to make works which question the manner in which books are 'read'. Nicholas transforms books into new objects and in doing so aims to highlight the poetic nature of the book as form.

Craft Victoria at Design:Made:Trade
In July 2011 Craft Victoria selected 12 of its Members to create temporary studios onsite at the State of Design's Design:Made:Trade, at Melbourne's Royal Exhibition Building. Featuring a group of craft makers and designers who represents the spirit, creativity and diversity of contemporary craft and design in Victoria, the makers came from areas such as ceramics, textiles, accessories, jewellery, glass and lighting. The interactive and engaging spaces were a major feature of the State of Design cultural program and presented the diverse practices that make up Victoria's craftspeople, designers and artists.
