Ceramics Victoria Inc celebrated 40 years of continual operation in 2009. A national award and exhibition in October was the focus of this historic occasion as well as activities in ten Regional Galleries across the state.

Ceramics Victoria Inc was established in 1969 to fulfil a need for the dissemination of information about new techniques in Ceramics and to encourage and stimulate ceramicists to a higher standard of  craftsmanship. CV Inc is a non profit, self-funded organisation run by volunteers which make the 40th Anniversary momentous. The core business of CV Inc aims to encourage higher standards of excellence through an ongoing program of festivals, workshops, forums, lectures and exhibitions.
