“44. Things That Cannot Be Compared: Summer and winter. Night and day. Rain and sunshine. A person's laughter and his anger. Black and white. Love and hatred…
136. Things That Fall From The Sky: Snow. Hail. I do not like sleet, but when it is mixed with pure white snow it is very pretty…” From The Pillow Book of Sei Shonagon

Things That Knitting Brings To Mind: Winter days. Unravelling and knots. Quiet thinking.
Things I Like To Do: Deconstruct and reconstruct. Use unwanted things to make something new. Knit while watching TV at night.
Things I Have Made: Cushions with snow flakes. Balls like a winter landscape. Clothes like a snow storm.
Things That I Ponder: Knitting something full of shape and volume. A knit can only be stretched so far. Machines may take over this old craft. Can I reclaim the knitting made by machines?
