Udder Handmade Friends are small creatures with big personalities. Each engaging character is individually hand made using a mixture of recycled, new, vintage and Japanese fabrics. Queensland based Fliss Dodd trained as a ceramic artist. She started making toys two years ago when she felt frustrated with the saturated synthetic kids’ toy market. She yearned to be able to give her children a handmade toy made with love from fabric not plastic.

Wherever possible Fliss uses recycled material and is interested in sustainability, she expresses this through making objects that will be cherished and will live a long life. Each imbued with a playful innocence, Fliss hopes that her toys bring people as much happiness as she receives making them.
