The materials used in the making of ceramic objects are taken from nature, extracted from where they have formed during mysterious and powerful changes to the earth.

The surfaces and forms of these vessels borrow elements from the natural world. The glazes used, pearl, shell, bone and stone all have a restrained sheen which allows the forms to softly emanate an intrinsic luminescence.

Pleasure in the utilitarian has been an unwavering priority in the process of designing and refining these entirely useful vessels.

In the smaller spaces in which we often now live, the objects that decorate our homes can be the same objects used in everyday life and it’s rituals of taking nourishment.
