As part of Craft Victoria's September exhibition program we are excited to present a series of talks by our exhibiting artists. Katherine Bowman, Debbie Symons, Jasmine Targett and Pam Stadus will each talk about their practice, their creative processes and the ideas and techniques behind their current exhibitions.
Katherine Bowman's new work Locutions (the loved object) examines the way we imbue objects and artefacts with meaning. Making Sense by Debbie Symons and Jasmine Targett is a collection of works that address the practitioners' concern with political investments in the ecological issues. Il Cimento by Pam Stadus is a video-based work that explores the effects of steam, fog, condensation and thermal shock on glass.
