AndODesign

Yumi Ando is a Melbourne ceramic artist who creates hand made jewellery, homewares and interior accessories. The and O designs have grown from her Japanese background and appreciation of the natural world, fused with the timelessness of vintage objects and iconic symbolism.

Her works begin as technical illustrations, sketches and hand cut templates which are then produced in her home studio. Every product is lovingly hand built from high quality porcelain, stoneware and finished with variety of glazes. The delicate decoration of her works is achieved through etched inlays, hand painting, piercing and printing.

Small, delicate and individual, her pieces are destined to be held and appreciated for their quality, personality and individualism.

GayeAbandon

Gaye Abandon and Body Parts Winter Accessories are two textile based, craft and design labels producing one-of-a-kind and limited edition accessories, homewares and clothing. Handmade in Melbourne, both ranges re-purpose second-hand and remnant materials wherever possible and are committed to sustainable, ethical and local production.

Op shop haberdashery and ephemera, vintage sewing patterns, felted jumpers and natural fabrics provide the inspiration for Gaye Naismith's Gaye Abandon range designed and made in Melbourne since 2005. Her accessories and homewares are inspired by domestic crafts turned out by generations of resourceful and creative women who have transformed pre-loved and surplus materials into decorative, functional and unique objects.

GentlyUnfurlingSneak

The Gently Unfurling Sneak is the work of Melbourne artist-designer Anika Cook, who started the business in 2006 after discovering that her Creative Arts degree rendered her completely unqualified for actual jobs.

Anika likes small touches of absurdity, vintage illustrations, old paper and books, bright colours, and stripes, but even more than that, she like putting all those things into her printed clothing, accessories and artworks. All products are happily made in Australia using the finest natural fibres, sustainably grown bamboo, and occasionally the back of an apple box that was found down the road.

Five years down the road, The Gently Unfurling Sneak has settled into its slightly strange style and has found its place in the crazy art-fashion-design world. And no one has had to get a proper job yet.

MorganWills

Morgan Wills' small boutique design label originated in 2006, as a result of her passion and love of colour. She has always been interested in craft, and even as a child was reusing everyday objects and materials found around the house to make things. Her label is focused on crafting unique eco friendly products of the highest quality.

What she finds in her travels dictates what can be made in terms of colour range. For her Cast offs products, only 100% finely woven woollen jumpers are used, with a preference for pure lamb's wool or cashmere. With the Mumma & Baby Bushka dolls, part of the Play with me range, Morgan uses all sorts of fabrics – everything from quilting and vintage fabrics, souvenir tea towels and floral tablecloths.
